Day Camp:

Blue Marlins Swim Team

The Buehler Blue Marlins is a competitive swim team for ages 6-21. The team is geared for all types of swimmers, from beginner to national level, and counts on the leadership of experienced coaches. The Blue Marlins compete against other YMCAs in the Chicagoland area as well as USA Swim Clubs from around the state and participate in 12-14 meets. Child Care:

Nursery Services

Monday–Thursday: 7:45am - 8:00pm
Friday: 7:45am - 5:00pm
Saturday:    8:30am - 1:30pm
Sunday: 10:00am - 2:00pm

 

YMCA members may bring a son or daughter six weeks through eight years of age for babysitting services. Parents or guardians must remain in the building. Nursery services are first come, first served. Children can be added to a waiting list if rooms are at capacity.

 

Kindergarten Counts

Children attending morning kindergarten at Paddock, Lincoln, Sanborn or Jane Addams schools can attend an extension program at Buehler that provides enrichment programming until 4:00p.m. Transportation is provided by District 15 for Paddock, Sanborn and the YMCA for Lincoln and Jane Addams.

 

Children begin their day at the Y with a hot lunch. Afternoon programming emphasizes fun and socialization with friends along with a kindergarten enrichment program. Each day children
participate with their teachers in a fitness activity. Swimming on Monday; Fitness Games on Tuesday; Yoga on Wednesday; Music on Thursday; and Physical Education on Friday, all of which are included in the monthly fee. Field trips and class parties are scheduled throughout our year.

 

Licensed After-School Care

Y-Link

The Buehler YMCA operates an in-house,state-certified after school program throughout the school year. Students attending the following Palatine School District 15 schools only are provided transportation to our facility and benefit from the resources Buehler YMCA has to offer. The schools serviced are Winston Churchill, Paddock, Virginia Lake,Sanborn, Jane Addams and Lincoln. Y-Link students are able to take advantage of the member rate for classes taken at the YMCA during the Y-Link program hours, provided they are a five days per week participant.
