National Senior Health & Fitness Day is a nationwide celebration of senior’s health and fitness, designed to bring seniors together, with their families and friends, for a fun-filled day, teaching healthy habits that will last a lifetime and sharing programs, ideas and products to enhance their lifestyle.

The day included: A Senior Lifestyle Expo, featuring the products and services of local and national businesses and organizations, as well as health screenings, activities to try and group demonstrations.

A substantial portion of the proceeds from donations and sponsorships goes directly to support Buehler YMCA’s “Strong Kids” program, which allows us the opportunity to financially assist  families, individuals or senior citizens to be members of the YMCA and participate in programming regardless of their ability to pay. Buehler YMCA is part of the YMCA Metropolitan Chicago organization and is a not-for-profit 50l-(3)-(c) organization as identified by the IRS. Last year Buehler YMCA gave back over $250,000 to individuals and families living in our communities.
